A lucky Nepean Triathlon competitor will win a complimentary pass to a 4 day triathlon training clinic conducted by triathlon legend and 6 time Hawaii Ironman champion Dave Scott.
This clinic will be held at Atmosphere Health and Fitness Club at Penrith from Monday 24 to Thursday 27 November. The winner will be selected from all entries in the Atmosphere Nepean Triathlon as at June 30.
Dave Scott has been in the sport of Triathlon for over 30 years. He is regarded as one of the best Triathlon coaches in the world today and has coached and advised some of the world’s best athletes including Chrissie Wellington, Craig Alexander, Eniko Lanos & Rachel Joyce to name a few.
The coaching clinic with Dave will give you a comprehensive understanding of triathlon training and racing and will enhance your knowledge and lead to improved performance.
The coaching clinic will be broken into 2 sessions per day over the 4 days. Swim sessions will cover the key elements of freestyle, race week workouts, dry land discussions, technique and stroke correction and strength building exercises. The afternoon sessions will cover the following topics such as strength training for endurance athletes relating to swimming, riding & running, injury prevention, running & running biomechanics, cycling & cycling biomechanics, strength imbalances, nutrition for training and racing, seasonal training, and plenty of Q&A time.
The prize winner will be drawn will be at Panther Cycles, Penrith at 12 noon Tuesday 1 July. Anyone is welcome to attend the draw. The prize winner must be available to attend the four day clinic and the prize is not transferable. Should the prize winner not be able to take the prize, another winner will be selected until the prize is claimed. Also, should a competitor who had purchased a ticket to the clinic wins this complimentary entry, their original payment will be refunded
