Early bird entry comp! Win a refund of your entry fee!

We are offering a refund to one lucky early bird entrant who correctly guesses the competitor who unfortunately pulled his shoulder in one of the earlier Nepean Triathlon’s in Tench reserve.

Simply go to the Nepean Triathlon facebook page and add your guess in the comments field related to this image before 5pm Sunday 24 April.

You must be entered the Nepean Triathlon to be eligible to win. From the correct and eligible people who enter we will draw one winner. They will receive a full refund of their 2016 entry fee.

Update: 26 April:

The competition winner was Stuet L Dav who had entered and correctly picked Mark Pringle, one of the sports’ stars in the early days of Triathlon, as the athlete in the photo. Stuart receives a refund of his 2016 entry fee. The winner of the entry refund was drawn at Panther Cycles.

About Mark Pringle: Mark was one of Australia’s leading triathletes in the 1980’s racing for the Fosters team. He organised the swim leg for the Nepean for many years when it was held in the Nepean River and also became a well known race director with many NSW races to his credit. Mark tragically died after a suspected hit and run whilst training in Abu Dhabi in 2009.
