Louise Bonham and Ironman winner took her second Nepean title.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s champ was a young larrikin from Bangor in Sydney, hot off his 3rd place in the Hawaii Ironman. Greg \u2018Plucky\u2019 Welch was on the upward swing of his career which eventually took him to multiple world titles and was the first of the Australian\u2019s to win the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon in 1994.
