Nepean Triathlon Turns 30!

Nepean Triathlon Turns 30!

The Nepean Triathlon hits another milestone reaching 30 years. Commemorative t-shirts and medals are produced to mark the history of the event and the 4 Nepean Legends are recognised at an amazing feat of completing every Nepean Triathlon over 30 years.

Long course triathlon specialists Tim Reed and Melissa Rollison (who was the recent world 70.3 champion) were victorious in 2011.

Melissa took the handicap title in a course record at the time. Second place went to Michelle Wu who had beaten Melissa for the title the previous year.

The finish line for the Nepean Triathlon moved to the front of the main grandstand in 2010 providing spectators a great view of the finish line action while waiting for the presentation to start.
