Covid Chaos Interrupts 2020 Event

With the Coronavirus pandemic impacting the world, restrictions on events and gatherings meant uncertainty about the 2020 event even taking place remained right up until just before race day.

With Enticer events cancelled and a maximum of 500 people total permitted in the Regatta Centre precinct, it became a very different and smaller Nepean Triathlon event in 2020.

5 time winner Aaron Royle however returned to the event after an absence in 2019 and claimed his 6th record victory. In the women’s Chloe Bateup secured her first Nepean Triathlon title.
