And that’s a wrap for the 2024 Nepean Triathlon!

We need to start by thanking each and every participant for your support over what was a chaotic weekend for all of us. As event organisers, 95% of our work is done prior to event day, planning and preparing the delivery of a truly special experience for our athletes.

Given the chaotic 24 hours that proceeded the weekend’s event, some modifications needed to be made to certain courses and we can not express enough gratitude for your understanding and patience as our team worked tirelessly to still deliver a successful event.

Despite the crazy and intense weather leading into the event, our incredible athletes and event crew still embraced Australia’s Oldest Triathlon and made it a fantastic weekend of racing!

From the team at Nepean Triathlon, we express a heartfelt thank you! We have our fingers crossed next year we will bring some sunshine to the Sydney International Regatta Centre, for Nepean Triathlon’s 43rd year!

A special congratulations to the winners of this year’s events: Cameron Wilson and Madison Hayward for the Nepean Triathlon, and Thales da Silva Souza and Demi Birch for the Classic Triathlon.
