Nepean Triathlon Makes it’s TV Debut

The 35th running of the Nepean Triathlon saw two Australian Olympic Representatives from Rio return to the event and secure victory.

Jacob Birtwhistle, 2nd in 2015, claimed his first Nepean Triathlon with his blistering final run leg. In the women, Ashleigh Gentle proved too good, taking her 2nd Nepean title and also taking the outright victory in the guys vs girls competition which has now become a signature feature of the Nepean Triathlon.

This year the event was filmed by AusVideo Productions and highlights screened on Channel 7.
