Royle and Gentle Dominate Again

In the 37th event, Aaron Royle again took victory including the outright victory which had been held by the women for the past 5 years.

Aaron had now equalled the event record for the most wins. This was set by Tim Bentley back in 1996 and Aaron is determined to return in 2019 to make it number 6. Three time Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander made his first appearance at the Nepean Triathlon since 1995, still coming in a commendable 8th position.

Ashleigh Gentle returned to get her fourth title, the most wins ever in the women’s event.
