New winners emerge in 2019
In 2019 we saw over 900 competitors and two new winners in the men and women divisions of the Nepean Triathlon. A previous podium finisher, Natalie Van Coevorden strode away from the pack to finish in not only 1st place among the women but became the outright winner in our unique handicap match-up against the gents.
In the men’s event, it was an unfortunate situation with the first two men across the line Charlie Quinn and Mitchell Cunningham having to be disqualified for inadvertently missing a small section of the run course. As a result the Schofield twins took first and second prize with Jayden Schofield taking his first Nepean Triathlon title closely followed by his brother Luke.
All four of our Nepean Legends returned and completed their 38th consecutive Nepean Triathlon.
